These Terms of Use govern how you interact with NurGuide. By using this app, you agree to these Terms.

1. ACCEPTANCE

Your use of NurGuide constitutes acceptance of these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you must not use the app.

2. LICENSE TO USE

We grant you a limited, personal, non-commercial license to use NurGuide.

You may:

  • Download and use the app on your personal device
  • Access features for personal Islamic education

You may NOT:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute the app or its content
  • Reverse engineer or decompile the app
  • Use the app for commercial purposes
  • Remove copyright or trademark notices
  • Create derivative works from the app

3. APP FEATURES

NurGuide provides the following features:

A. AI Islamic Guide:
  • Multilingual conversational assistant
  • Provides Islamic information with references
  • Operates within Islamic domain

CRITICAL: All AI responses are FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY and may contain errors. YOU MUST cross-verify all information and references with qualified Islamic scholars.

B. Prayer Timer:
  • Location-based prayer times
  • Calculated using GPS coordinates

CRITICAL: Prayer times may be inaccurate. ALWAYS verify with your local mosque.

C. Qibla Direction:
  • GPS-based compass toward Kaaba

CRITICAL: Qibla direction may be incorrect. Verify with mosque markings when possible.

D. Tasbeeh Counter:
  • Digital counter for dhikr
E. Daily Ayat/Hadith:
  • Quranic verses and Hadith delivered daily

CRITICAL: References provided must be CROSS-VERIFIED with authentic Islamic sources.

4. EDUCATIONAL PURPOSE ONLY

ALL FEATURES AND CONTENT ARE PROVIDED FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.

This app:

  • Does NOT provide religious rulings (Fatwas)
  • Does NOT replace qualified Islamic scholars
  • Does NOT guarantee accuracy of any information
  • Should NOT be your sole source of Islamic knowledge

5. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

When using NurGuide, YOU MUST:

  • Verify all AI responses with qualified scholars
  • Cross-check prayer times with local mosques
  • Confirm Qibla direction independently
  • Verify all Quranic and Hadith references
  • Understand that content may contain errors
  • Accept full responsibility for your religious practices

6. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

You may NOT:

  • Use the app to spread misinformation about Islam
  • Rely solely on AI responses for important religious decisions
  • Use the app for unlawful purposes
  • Attempt to hack or compromise the app
  • Share false or misleading content generated by the app
  • Use automated tools to access the app
  • Violate any applicable laws or Islamic principles

7. AI CONTENT DISCLAIMER

The AI Islamic Guide:

  • May produce INACCURATE or INCOMPLETE responses
  • Cannot understand context like human scholars
  • Should be treated as a STARTING POINT for learning, not final answers
  • Provides references that MUST be verified independently
  • Does NOT constitute scholarly opinions
  • Cannot replace personalized guidance from Imams

WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR:

  • Any actions taken based on AI responses
  • Errors or omissions in AI content
  • Misinterpretation of AI guidance
  • Religious consequences from using AI features

8. PRAYER TIMES DISCLAIMER

Prayer times are calculated using:

  • Your GPS coordinates
  • Islamic calculation methods

IMPORTANT:

  • Times may vary from other sources
  • GPS accuracy affects calculations
  • Local mosque times are authoritative
  • Set reminders with buffer time
  • We are NOT responsible for missed prayers

9. LOCATION DATA USE

By enabling location services, you allow us to:

  • Calculate prayer times for your area
  • Determine Qibla direction from your position
  • Provide location-based content

You can disable location access anytime in device settings. This will affect location-dependent features.

10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content in NurGuide is protected by intellectual property laws.

  • App code, design, and graphics are owned by NurGuide
  • You may NOT extract, copy, or redistribute app content
  • Quranic text is divine revelation (not copyrighted)
  • Translations and compilations may be copyrighted

11. USER CONTENT

If you create personal content (bookmarks, notes):

  • You retain ownership of your personal data
  • We may store this data to provide app functionality
  • You must not create or share prohibited content

If future versions allow community features, you may NOT post:

  • Offensive or inappropriate content
  • Content violating Islamic principles
  • Misinformation or false Islamic claims
  • Copyrighted material without permission

12. THIRD-PARTY INTEGRATIONS

NurGuide uses:

  • Google Sign-In / Apple Sign-In
  • Prayer time calculation APIs
  • Location services

These services have separate terms and privacy policies. We are NOT responsible for third-party services.

13. NO WARRANTIES

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

We do NOT guarantee:

  • Accuracy of content
  • Reliability of features
  • Uninterrupted service
  • Compatibility with all devices

14. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR:

  • Errors in prayer times, Qibla, or any content
  • Missed prayers or incorrect religious practices
  • Reliance on AI-generated information
  • Service interruptions or technical issues
  • Data loss or security breaches
  • Any damages resulting from app use

YOUR USE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

15. SERVICE MODIFICATIONS

  • Change features or functionality anytime
  • Update calculation methods or data sources
  • Modify the user interface
  • Add or remove content

We are not required to provide notice of changes.

16. ACCOUNT TERMINATION

  • You may delete your account anytime
  • We may terminate accounts violating these Terms
  • Upon termination, your access ends immediately

17. CHANGES TO TERMS

We may update these Terms of Use anytime. Changes are effective when posted. Continued use means acceptance of new Terms.
